Enbo is a Ph.D. candidate in chemistry at Georgia Tech, and his research focuses on nanostructured materials for energy storage applications. He joined the club at the end of 2016 and served as the fundraising officer since. He was also in the board of Electrochemical Society (ECS) Student Chapter at Georgia Tech. Enbo obtained his B.S. in chemistry from Nankai University in 2013. During his free time, he enjoys traveling the world, skydiving and snorkeling.
Sepehr is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering working on applications of machine learning in accelerating material design and innovation. During his Ph.D. studies at Cornell University, he was the Director of Engagement at Cornell Graduate Consulting Club, where he organized and led consulting engagements with local start-ups. He was also the lead in a business school consulting project with an F100 company. Sepehr joined PhD2Consulting in July 2017 to lead an initiative on nurturing relationships with consulting firms that hire PhDs to create more opportunities for GT graduates. Sepehr is a former soccer player and enjoys watching and talking about soccer/sports in his free time.
Chuchu Zhang is a Ph.D. student in Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech. Her current research focuses on temperature dependent wearing damage of stainless steel. Chuchu has been involved in several volunteering consulting engagements including CCT Atlanta. Prior to join Georgia Tech, she obtained her B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University. In free time she enjoys traveling, reading, trying food from different culture and playing with LEGO bricks.
Shuaidi is a 4th year Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. His current research focuses on engineering plasmonic nanostructures and quantum dots for biomolecular sensing and nanophotonic applications. During his undergraduate studies, he worked on magnetic nanoparticles for high density information storage. He has published 10 peer reviewed articles, including 1 book chapter, and has served as a reviewer for multiple ACS journals. In his free time, he enjoys competitive swimming, motorcycle riding, skiing, and skydiving.

Hazar is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on non-invasive cardiovascular monitoring of heart failure patients. She was involved in the community through volunteering as a Steering Board Member in the Atlanta Clinical & Translational Science Institute Community Engagement Research Program. Hazar interned in NFANT, a biomedical devices startup, and was a Summer Associate in McKinsey & Company during Summer, 2017. Previously, she obtained her M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2016, and her B.E. from the American University of Beirut in 2013. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing basketball, hanging out with friends, and meeting new people.
Abhirup is a rising 5th year graduate PhD student at the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering working with Dr. Ravi Kane. His research focuses on studying the Wnt signaling pathway, a cellular signaling pathway pivotal in stem cell differentiation and cancer therapy. He has been a member of the GT PhD2CC since January 2016 and served as the Public Relations Officer from Fall 2016 till Summer 2017. He was also a member of the GT Table Tennis Club, as well as a graduate of the Georgia Tech Graduate Leadership Program. Apart from research and consulting, he also loves to meet new people, read, follow sports, think about new ideas and listen to music.
Aida is a PhD candidate in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry. She is a physical chemist by training. Her current work is in laser optical and acoustic imaging techniques with the goal of finding better molecular probes for imaging tumors or visualizing protein-protein interactions. Aida has been involved in several outreach events and is constantly looking for ways to help make a positive impact in society. In her free time Aida enjoys laughing with friends, traveling, watching movies and conversations with people smarter than her.
Rebecca is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Chemical Engineering, having formerly obtained B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and Physics from MIT. Her research uses quantum and classical simulations to characterize and control defects in porous adsorbents. She is currently a part-time consultant for Milliken & Company, where she also interned in Summer 2017. In her free time, she likes to meet new people, play squash, track crypto markets, and read about machine learning.
Xuetian is a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech with research focusing on novel anode materials for sodium ion batteries and in situ studies on magnetic nanoparticles. She obtained her B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) from Tsinghua University and M.S. in MSE from Cornell University. She is currently the board member of Electrochemical Society (ECS) at Georgia Tech and Mechanical Engineering Graduate Association (MEGA). Xuetian has been involved in several volunteering consulting engagements. In her free time, she loves jogging and kayaking.
